Pedestrian hit, killed by train in Downers Grove, police say
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. - A pedestrian was hit and killed by a freight train in suburban Downers Grove overnight, police said.
The person was seen at the railroad crossing around 12:45 a.m. Sunday at Washington Street and the BNSF Railroad tracks. Their name has not been released.
