According to NBA insider Shams Charania of ESPN, if the Milwaukee Bucks are open to discussing Giannis Antetokounmpo with teams, the New York Knicks will no longer have the exclusive negotiating window as his preferred destination.
“If you lose Giannis, it can’t be just a couple of players. It’s got to be pack draft picks. You don’t have draft capital," Smith added. "So now the only way you can get him is if he forces his way out of Milwaukee, and he’s not willing to do that yet because he feels he owes the organization and the city."
