The upper portion of the US LBM Coaches Poll didn’t change much after the weekend’s results. There are, however, some significant developments in the back half of the top 10.

Joining Fort Hays State from the Great American Conference in the initial release of Super Region rankings is Rogers State and Northeastern State. Teams are not assigned a ranking in the first release of the rankings and teams under consideration are listed in alphabetical order.

The annual preseason list takes into account all offseason moves and predicts how the march toward the NCAA tournament will play out.

In every college basketball season since 2012, at least one team that began the season ranked in the AP Top 25 has failed to reach the NCAA Tournament. In the past three years alone, there were 13 teams ranked in the preseason that didn't reach March Madness.
