After a weekend winter storm dumped more than a foot of snow on much of the state, Gov. Mikie Sherrill said the state of emergency has lifted on Jan. 26 at noon. “We’ve gone through the acute crisis. Now it’s post-crisis cleanup and making sure we continue to keep everyone safe,” she said.
