A prosecutor on Wednesday dropped all criminal charges in Georgia against U.S. President Donald Trump for interference in the 2020 presidential election, ending a high-profile racketeering case that once seemed like a significant threat to the Republican.

The Fulton County election interference case against President Trump and others has been dismissed after the prosecutor who took over the case asked that it be dropped.

Georgia filed Wednesday morning to officially dropped its election case against Donald Trump. Prosecutor says evidence, legal barriers and delays made trial impossible. Some allegations didn’t meet Georgia’s legal requirements or belonged in federal court, according to motion.
