(The Hill) — Minnesota is set to hold some of the state’s first elections of this year as two separate shootings tied to the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown have rocked the state in recent weeks.

Two Minnesota special elections in heavily Democratic Twin Cities-area state legislative districts will decide control of the state's House of Representatives for the third time in less than a year.
