Simple bit of testing on a very expensive X.Flow head today. 1.58" 9/32" stem inlet valves. You get to around .395" lift with flow still climbing and then just over .420" the note changes. I'm not sure if is audible in the video but very obvious when your standing next to it. Soon as you get above .420" ish flow falls and falls. That is bang on .25 L/D ratio using old school theory. Luckily the cam only goes .415" lift. Anyone want to guess what's wrong as plenty we test and do ourselves max out

A good afternoon down at Jon Wood Developments JWD on the rollers. Clive always had the feeling since the car was tested elsewhere that there was more to be had and I totally agreed with him. The issue was the Weber ECU fitted as the tester did not have access to the software or interface. All this was probably 3rys ago after we supplied a modified head shimmed up with our 272/264 cams ready to bolt on. Clive does sprints, hill climbs and Brighton speed trial etc so wanted all of it.
