Yesterday, the SeaWorld Orlando rescue team received a manatee suffering from a boat strike injury. The manatee was brought to us with the help of our partners at ZooTampa at Lowry Park and MyFWC Florida Fish and Wildlife. Thanks to this collaborative effort, SeaWorld is able to rehab this animal, so that we can return her back to the wild. | SeaWorld

During the last 48 hours, three manatees (Vie, Paddington and Pokey) were returned to Florida waters after a combined 34 months of rehabilitation and expert care at ZooTampa’s David A Straz Jr Manatee Critical Care Center. All three manatees were rescued in St. Petersburg by MyFWC Florida Fish and Wildlife after they were found suffering from cold stress last winter.
