WEATHER UPDATE: The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has raised Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 3 in five areas as Typhoon Uwan (international name: Fung-wong) rapidly intensifies over the Philippine Sea, east of the Bicol region.
