When a honey bee stings a person, their little stinger gets stuck in our skin and sadly the bee dies because the stinger is pulled from its body. Watch a stinger stuck in one of Scott’s gloves. If you watch closely you will see the poison sack on the stinger throbbing - it’s pumping venom! So if you get stung by a honey bee, DON’T grab the stinger to pull it out. Scrape it out with a finger nail or anything that can get under the poison sack so you don’t push the venom into you! #gardenpathhomem
