Trombus je krevní sraženina, která vzniká uvnitř cévy. Typicky se tvoří při zpomaleném průtoku krve, poškození cévní stěny nebo při poruše srážlivosti. Trombus může částečně nebo úplně ucpat cévu a tím zablokovat přívod krve do tkání. Pokud se jeho část uvolní a putuje krevním řečištěm, nazývá se embolus.
